Hillhead’s Super Sundays are legendary!
Hillhead Juniors’ was started by Ann Hilton following the Gold Medal success of GB at Seoul in 1988. From the grass pitches at Hillhead Sports Club to our current home at Windyedge, our core principles have always been clear:
Fun and friendship
We believe that when you get that right, combined with top quality coaching, the sky is the limit for our youngsters. Through our dedicated coaches and volunteers, Hillhead Juniors’ has produced and nurtured countless athletes over the past few decades who have represented our men’s and ladies’ teams at every level in Scotland, have represented Scotland internationally, and have even found their way to top teams in England, mainland Europe and Australia.
Where and when?
Hillhead Juniors Super Sundays take place @ Windyedge Pitches 10am - 12pm.
We have access to three fantastic pitches, allowing us to cater for all age groups in a safe environment.
Please remember that the following kit are essential for your safety:
Mouthguard / Shin pads
We are also pleased to say that the tuck shop will be back this season, we ask that your child has no more than £1 to spend at the tuckshop and that they also come along with a bottle of water.
Who’s it for?
Hillhead Juniors’ caters for young people aged 4 - 16.
We ensure that a mixture of hockey drills and gameplay are used to develop our players and make sessions fun and engaging for all - regardless of age, ability or experience.
Our juniors get the chance to test their skills at both indoor and outdoor competitions and festivals at under 8, 10, 12, 14, 16 age groups.
